Elizabeth Kenny

Principal

Elizabeth gained an interest in workplace and employee relations early in her career prompting her to undertake a business degree in labour relations and commence employment as a senior human resource practitioner. This enabled Elizabeth to develop experience at the ‘coal face’ of people management within Australia’s dynamic industrial law landscape.

In 2002 Elizabeth commenced her law degree with a focus on employment and business law. Having a dual degree in both business and law enables her to provide a comprehensive and practical approach to her clients. Elizabeth has worked extensively across SME’s, manufacturing and industrial organisations as well as professional, service and medical industries.

“The way I see it, providing workplace legal services is more than just providing technical advice. Clients need a holistic approach which includes assessing options and developing strategies to reach optimal outcomes.

This is best achieved by partnering and working together with clients to gain a full understanding of their business, its needs and goals. My broad background allows us to offer clients a multi-faceted approach tailored to their specific needs with a clear view of the approach moving forward.“

Becky Lyons

Senior Licensed Conveyancer

Commencing her career in a busy family law practice, Becky soon fostered an interest in conveyancing and aspects of property advice. Since this time Becky has strongly developed her insight through obtaining her formal qualifications at Macquarie University Sydney and she now holds an unrestricted Conveyancing Licence and specialises in all areas of conveyancing practice.

Becky’s extensive experience extends to residential property, strata property, rural property (including water licencing and farming agistments), off the plan sales, subdivisions and the granting easements and leases. Becky is passionate about helping vendors and purchasers in all aspects of their lifecycle from assisting new home buyers enter the market to helping with the management of downsizing.

“From my point of view, the most important part of conveyancing is ensuring our clients are well informed from the beginning. It is essential to provide sound and balanced advice from which our clients can make a decision on what will often be one of the most important financial decisions in their lifetime. We pride ourselves on being available and keeping our clients updated. I think we often become more passionate about the sale and purchase of property than our clients do!”
